Delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina should, at today's session in Sarajevo, under summary procedure consider the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Treasury in the FBiH.
This bill, proposed by the Government of the Federation of BiH, was adopted by the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament at its session on July 25. The reasons for the adoption of amendments to the Law on Treasury in the FBiH are harmonization with the Law on Budgets in the FBiH and the Law on Internal Audit in the Public Sector in the FBiH.
It is also planned to consider the proposal for the rebalancing of this year's budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but there is a possibility that this item will be removed from the agenda given that the Government of the FBiH withdrew it at the session of the House of Representatives on July 25 for refinement.
Delegates should also vote on the Draft Law on protection of civilian war victims in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was adopted by the House of Representatives of the FBiH on July 25. It is one of the most important laws that, as explained at the time, should after 28 years restore pride and dignity to civilian victims of war.
It is also envisaged to consider the Document of the Framework Budget of the FBiH for the period 2024-2026, and a set of energy laws adopted by the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament at the session on July 6.
These are the Draft Law on Energy and Regulation of Energy Activities, the Draft Law on Electricity in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Draft Law on the Use of Renewable Energy Sources and Efficient Cogeneration.
